FAQ

Aligned with https://winin.ai public FAQ semantics for human and machine citation. Product details are canonical on /en/facts/winin-what-is/.

What is GEO?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) improves conditions for being accurately understood, considered, and cited through approved facts and publicly verifiable expression; measuring change still requires retest. SEO focuses on search discovery and clicks; GEO focuses on how generative answers understand and present you. See learn/geo · glossary/geo.

What is AEO, and how does it differ from GEO?

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) emphasizes making direct answers easy to retrieve and support. GEO overlaps with AEO but also examines how generative systems understand, compare, consider, and recommend brands or products. Both need clear facts, accessible content, and comparable measurement.

GEO differs from SEO—do we still need SEO?

Yes. SEO improves crawl, index, and search discovery; GEO examines how generative systems understand and use information. Clear fact pages, product information, and structured data can support both, but measure search performance and AI-answer change separately.

Do AI systems really read our website?

AI may use training data, third-party media, commerce pages, user content, and your site. Homer organizes scattered information into traceable approved facts; whether models use them—and how they respond—still requires observation. Winin’s site is open to public crawlers (robots.txt).

Why do AI answers keep changing?

Training data, retrieval paths, and generation strategies keep updating; different answers on different days for the same question are normal. What matters is a stable baseline to observe direction of change—not treating a single answer as final. See same-conditions retest method pages and /en/digest/same-conditions-retest-playbook/.

What is structured data, and how does it help AI?

Structured data (e.g. Schema / JSON-LD) declares entities, prices, availability, and more in machine-readable form so explicit facts are easier to recognize; whether AI/search adopts them still requires observation.

What is Winin? What do Edith / Homer / Friday do?

Winin is an AI Recommendation Intelligence platform. Edith monitors and retests; Homer governs facts; Friday advances optimization after approval. See winin-what-is.

Which models are monitored?

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, Copilot, Kimi, Qwen, GLM, Doubao, MiniMax, ERNIE Bot. See models-monitored.

How do we contact you? How should we read commercial paths?

Email: contact@winin.ai. Public paths include an initial signal (5 fixed questions…), Formal Baseline (scoped quote), Brand·Product GEO (scoped quote)—no public price figures. See contact.

Are website case figures promises to me?

No. Anonymous cases have scope and retest premises; see case-metrics-disclaimer.

Is monitoring-only enough?

If you only need to know mention status, monitoring may suffice; if you need causes, fact governance, approve-then-execute, and same-conditions retest, evaluate a full loop. See monitoring-vs-geo-loop.
