Quick answer
Give each group of equivalent buying questions a primary answer, then link factual claims to their public evidence.
Answer pages explain how to assess or choose; product and fact pages maintain valid specifications and boundaries. A different English phrase does not automatically need a new page, and repeated conclusions should not acquire conflicting versions.

Map buyer needs before mapping keywords
Collect the English wording overseas sales actually encounters and label the category, application, constraints and decision intent. Decide whether two questions need the same answer rather than grouping by shared keywords alone. The following are planning examples, not demand data or customer cases.
Buyer question type and example
What the primary answer does
Evidence to link
Fit: “Which option fits this operating environment?”
Explain selection conditions and limits
Current product and operating-condition information
Comparison: “How do these options differ for this application?”
Compare using consistent dimensions
Verifiable specifications and conditions
Verification: “Does this model meet this requirement?”
State confirmed facts and limitations directly
Valid facts for the relevant model
Method: “How do we evaluate compatibility?”
Explain the assessment and unresolved checks
Public technical material; unknowns left open
For enterprise software, the application might be a team workflow and the model a product version. Deployment and integration statements still require confirmed public evidence. The map is an organising method, not a capability checklist every company must satisfy.
Assign a primary answer to the question group
Record original wording, shared intent, primary answer URL, fact-source URLs, existing coverage and owner. Equivalent phrasing can appear in the title, summary or FAQ of one page, provided the body answers it.
Consider a separate page when market conditions, purchasing constraints or the answer materially differ, and define that scope. Chinese and English pages can share an intent while speaking naturally to their readers. A shared evidence base does not require word-for-word translation.
Connect explanations to evidence
An answer should link its reasoning to the relevant model, condition or specification source. The fact page retains current wording and a valid version. A homepage link alone leaves the reader to find the evidence again.
A topic guide can link to specific answers, which link back to the guide; related questions can cross-link where useful. Compare only dimensions supported by public evidence on each side. Mark missing information for verification instead of inventing a difference, and avoid repeating identical recommendation claims simply to produce more pages.
Audit duplicates, gaps and conflicting facts
For each target question, check for a primary answer, substantive coverage rather than a keyword mention, duplicate pages, consistent fact versions and readable destinations.
Use the results to create an editorial list of pages to retain, extend, consider for consolidation or verify. A consolidation candidate is not an immediate instruction to delete or redirect; page purposes and existing links need review. Better coverage also does not establish better AI citation performance, which requires separate observations on fixed questions. See the

Common questions
Q: How should exporters map English buyer questions to website pages?
A: Separate selection explanations from fact verification. Use answer pages for reasoning and product or fact pages for models, specifications and boundaries, then record the primary answer and its evidence relationship in the map.
Q: Do different English phrasings of one buying question need separate pages?
A: Equivalent intent and answer requirements can share a primary page with natural FAQ wording. Consider a separate page when the conditions or conclusion materially differ.
Q: How should supplier comparison answers link to specification evidence?
A: Link each comparison dimension to the relevant product, model and valid version rather than the homepage alone. Explain different conditions and leave unsupported comparisons for verification.
Q: How do we find duplicate content and unanswered buyer questions?
A: Map questions, shared intent, primary answers, evidence sources and coverage status. Check whether each question receives an actual answer, then list duplicates, gaps and conflicts rather than using article count as coverage.
